1. Copy all contacts from the old phone to the SIM card, turn off the phone and move the SIM card to your new phone.

2. Turn on your new phone.

3. From standby, select 'Menu' %26gt; Contacts.

4. Highlight New contact and select Options.

5. Select Advanced %26gt; Copy from SIM %26gt; Copy all.

Phone got wet !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ?????????

My phone got weird a couple months ago....... I noticed it was kinda wet and when i would turn it on it would say enter sim card when the sim was already in ...... I flipped the card many different ways and the battery. I kinda dried my phone and found a backup phone. Used that one for the whole summer while missing my old phone. Still doesn't work any ideas ?Phone got wet !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ?????????
You need to try Silica Gel Packets to dry out your phone. There was a good article on associatedcontent.com that explains how to dry a wet cell phone, iPods, or any electronics. You need to place your cell phone in a zip lock bag with Silica Gel Packets. Silica Gel will remove all the moisture from the phone and its components, something air drying will not do!

Just Google "Silica Gel Packets" and you will find several companies selling these products. There is also a web site called: http://www.SilicaGelPackets.com that has them.Phone got wet !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ?????????
If your phone gets wet, you should immediately disconnect the battery (as this can short it out if left in). Attempt to dry the phone out in some raw rice or something which will absorb the mosture. Sometimes it will be trapped under the screen, etc. You might have to dis-assemble part of the phone, if required (not recommended, if can be avoided) and sun dry the separate parts.

It's all pretty... all red and shiny..

anyhow, I had a regular verizon phone (no sim card) and when I got the blackberry the instructons said use backup assistance so I did that. Now I have a big ole' file on the Verizon Website, but I don't know how to get all that stuff onto my blackberry...

    ARGH!!!UGH, I had a regular Phone now I have a blackberry?
I don't have Verizon Irk, otherwise I'm sure I'd know how to help you! Did you call Verizon customer service? Believe it or not you are already paying them to help you with this stuff. Call them from your home phone so you can talk while they tell you what to do
    Ugh,

its faster to download trough your computer when its a big file

i presume you know how to send between your phone and the computer

No service on iphone after restoring?

ok so my mum upgraded her iphone 3gs to an iphone 4s but shes gave it to me and ive given her my iphone 4. Shes getting my iphone 4 and the new sim card and im getting the Iphone 4s with my old sim card. So i put my old simcard into the new iphone 4s and made it start up as backup rom itunes so i plugged it in like it asked and updated the software and sync it and it wouldnt work so i went back and set it up as a new iphone but wen i got into my menu everything from my old phone was there with my old number so thats fine.

But the problem is my mums phone. After taking out my sim card from my old phone and putting the new sim card in, all of my stuff was still on it like contacts, photos, apps etc so i dodnt really know what to do so i took the sim card out, plugged old iphone into laptop and restored to factory settings then i put the sim card back in. But! there NO SERVICE! and theres no phone number and she cant text or phone anyone and i cant text or phone her either because we dont know her number! usually wen you go to contacts it says my number: but theres nothing :(

    I NEED HELP!

thanksNo service on iphone after restoring?
ok i understand your may be both be own same network?put your mums original sim card in her new phone(not yours),get your mum to connect it to her computer and sync it all with her itunes account, then do the same with yours.

Before you do connect your phone ,check for updates, then connect it to itunes ,then check again for updates, get your mum to do the same, making sure both computers are authorised to use each phone.

Also try full reset on both phones,do this before you connect either phones.

Delete all contacts from your mums phone ,but back them all up first ,you can get your mum to contact her network to get her number of check the paperwork which came with her phone an see if her number is on that.

Try cleaning both sim cards carefully and insert ,try do full reset for both phones,do this before connecting any to the computers,i hope this helps

    How to reactivate iphone 3g?

My mum gave me a iphone 3g it was activated, and it had Iowa 3.1.3 and I was updating it on itunes but it was taking so long to backup. I heard people say its quicker if you restore it and update. I don't have a backup for it. And now it is deactivated. It is on o2 and I put a o2 Sim card in it, and it said Sim card not valid. My dad has a iphone 3g maybe I could restore mine from his backup, or would that not work? Also my o2 Sim is lagged, do I need to get it activated and put it in my iphone or something? I need help, Im stuck.
