So I downloaded the Sims 3 base game, and 3 other expansion packs (World Travels, Ambitions, and Late Night), and now I'm wondering...should I mount the ISOs? If so, which one(s)? Or burn them to a disc (some don't fit)? Which disc or mounted ISO would I have to use to play all the expansion packs at one time?

I used to play sims 3 late night expansion pack before then I decided to buy the sims 3 generations expansion pack .Today I try install the sims 3 generation ep before the installing wizard installed the game it says that I need to patch it online after I install because I think its version is old ,I click ok and installed it because I thought after I installed it all I have to do was to patch the game .But when I click on the launcher it says "There was an error during start up. Please see the log for more details." and when I also click in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 Late Night\Game\Bin TS3EP03 it says that the sims 3 has stopped working .I decided to uninstall the sims 3 generations but after I uninstalled it the problem is still there please help!

Sims 3 uninstall problems?
I'm trying to uninstall Sims 3 from my computer. It says that it's successful but when I look into Program Files, it says that Sims 3 is still there taking up 5.66GB on my computer. My game has been having huge problems. Like when I load up my family it shows no people, none of their icons, and it says that I have $0. What do I do? I just want to play my game happily. I had World Adventures, High End Loft Stuff, Ambitions, Generations, Late Night, and Fast Lane Stuff. I torrent my sims games. What do I do?Sims 3 uninstall problems?

1.You have to install the packs correctly and accordingly so you wont disrupt the game.
2. If you're using a pirated version!! you have to update the game before applying the crack!!!
3. You can uninstall the game..then install it back...apply the update then use the crack (Remember to keep your saved games...it will ask you if you want to remove your saves games...)
4. Run your sim 3 is an administrator.
5. Make sure your game is compatible with your pc
to uninstall
go to start and type in uninstall, then you'll see uninstall programs. click that then you'll see all the programs you have on your pc!! Search for the sims and uninstall...then you can try going to were you saved the sim and its expansion packs, delete them!!! then go to the recycle bin and make sure the job is finished!!!

Playing a virtual disk? this question is too short?
ok so i downloaded a sims 3 late night torrent from piratebay. when i try to run it in a virtual disk using daemon tools, it just opens the files inside and does not install it, any help would be appreciated:D

try finding a different version of the torrent if you want to run it through a virtual drive you need an iso file.

Sims 3 Packages and Custom Content?
I'm trying to fix this thing like years. So that's what i do:
I downloaded Sims3 and all Expansion packs and Stuff packs. I installed all them in My Computer/C:/Program Files/Electronic Arts %26lt;--- this is the folder where they all are. The Sims 3 , The Sims 3 Ambitions, The Sims 3 Fast Lane Stuff, The Sims 3 High-End Loft Stuff, The Sims 3 Late Night, The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff, The Sims 3 World Adventures. The last one that I installed was Outdoor Living Stuff. I did all things like replacing the crack and etc ... the game is running good BUT i have some problems with the downloads.
I download from PaggyZone, XM Sims3 etc. ... from PaggyZone file's types are "PACKAGES" that's what it says and from some other sites the file's types are "The Sims 3 Custom Content" . I saw that the "package" files must be in My Computer/Program Files/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Mods/ Packages. that's what i am doing i put all "PACKAGE" files in this folder there. And "Custom Content" files i put in My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Downloads %26lt;--- i made this folder because when i downloaded The.Sims.3.Download.Content.Addon it says to put the files from this torrent in this folder... so i made this folder.When i put them in that folder "Downloads" i open the Launcher and then install them all. If you have your electronic arts folder under documents grab the electronic arts folder and place it in the computer - program files folder. Then you want to go www.modthesims.com and download your mod. Make sure you have WINR downloaded before doing this. You can get that free at there website. Then download. You will see a monkey head next to your pack file. Open up the electronic arts folder that you have in the program files section. Open up to sims 3 - mods - packages. From there drag the package file to the other open folder. Then it's in your game just like that!Sims 3 Packages and Custom Content?

Hey guys I need some advice on finding a decent Sims 3 torrent. I bought the game a couple months ago and cant find the disc anywhere. Sims 3 Late Night Help?!?
I bought the game yesterday (actual disc, not direct download). A few weeks ago, I tried to torrent Fast Lane. I installed, but I got the disc authentication error thing so I uninstalled it. I hadn't played the game until yesterday when I installed Late Night, but I have no social interaction options (I can interact with objects) and the only instrument I can play is the guitar. For example, my sim goes to the bass, puts it in her inventory, then puts it back. With the piano, she goes to it, then glitches out and ends up on the other side of the wall, and goes to do something else. I deleted my recent custom content thinking that something might be interfering, even though it hadn't done anything before. The last time this happened it was a bad mod, but once I deleted that it wasn't a problem.

I recently downloaded Sims 3 Late Night (the extension) from a torrent website. I know it's not fake but i'm new to this kinda thing and i don't know how to make it work. Have you install the Sims 3 core game? (I know i know not so clever answer) If you have then get a daemon or anything that can read ISO file(make sure you unrar/unzip the downloaded file) if you already have daemon/ISO reader then you need to mount them. Mounting is easy daemon even tell you how to do it so you should be covered. After that everything is normal.

3) Install the daemon
4) Mount them

I would. Late night is one of the best expansions so far in my opinion because it contains so many more bonuses and add-ons. Personally I would just buy it. Torrents are good for full games but not normally for expansions. It is very risky to download things off of sites other than pirate bay in my opinion. You should also read the comments on the torrent to see if people are saying it is a virus or if it's fake

I'm guessing that it crashed because your Mac's firmware is too new, or the game was corrupted, so if you end up downloading the same one again and it crashes, it's not a big deal, but try downloading one from a couple different torrents, just to be sure. Because they'd be parallel downloads they wouldn't be as fast, but that's no big deal.

Sounds like it should, as those games aren't very anal when it comes to requirements.
Yes it will be able to play starcraft 2, most likeliy on a high setting as well. However I have to point out that the RAM has very little do do with the video rendering that takes a high end system. The video card and processor is really what makes or breaks a deal on being able to play a game. All memory (RAM) does is allow the computer to buffer more data at a time for multitasking.

Dude, you have 4 GB of DDR3 RAM. RAM is random access memory, and it is used for just about every function on you computer. SC2 requires 2 GB of DDR2. DDR3 RAM is much more efficient that DDR2. You also have an i5 Processor. The question isn't whether you can play these games, it's whether you will be able to play them at th highest settings. Sounds like it should, as those games aren't very anal when it comes to requirements.
Yes it will be able to play starcraft 2, most likeliy on a high setting as well. However I have to point out that the RAM has very little do do with the video rendering that takes a high end system. The video card and processor is really what makes or breaks a deal on being able to play a game. All memory (RAM) does is allow the computer to buffer more data at a time for multitasking.
Why can't my Sims talk to each other? :(?
I have a pretty annoying glitch in my Sims 3 game which means the people cannot interact with each other. There are only a couple of options, such as 'call over' and 'mean....scare' They'll do the scare interaction, but the first time it happened after loading the game up my sim was on a date, and had the option to say goodbye. So because he couldn't really do anything and it would be a rubbish date, I told him to say goodbye, and he walked up but then froze and jumped several feet away from her. This happened each time I tried.

2) I didn't get your second question , any way i will try to explain clearly
i) "Tata photon modem" and "Tata photon PLUS" modems are different.
ii) If you unlock "Tata photon modem" you can use any sim in it, tata photon modem speed is only 236 kbps.
iii) "Tata photon plus" is EVDO ( cdma technology) , which doesn't have any sim card slot and you cannot shift to any other EVDO service provider like reliance net connect plus, bsnl evdo, mblaze.
iV) This is important " 3G data cards are different from EVDO's i.e. reliance net connect, tata photon plus, mblaze, bsnl evdo , all have speeds upto 3.1 mbps)
v) 3G data card run on 3g based technology with 3g sims and EVDO on CDMA technology with no sims.
3) Yes, but for that you need to buy UNLOCKED 3G DATA CARDS, companies like BSNL, AIRTEL, IDEA, DOCOMO give "locked data cards" to their customers so that they don't leave them.
You cannot use any sim in LOCKED 3G DATA CARDS, if you unlock 3G data cards you can use any 2G or 3G sim in it. Among that locked idea 3G netsetter can be easily unlocked and can use any service provider.
3G unlocked data card price depends upon modem speeds,
i) 3.6 mbps 3g datacard will cost around 1200-1500rs
ii) 7.2 mbps 3g data card will cost around 2000-2500rs

vi) Bsnl evdo has true unlimited @750 rs only
5) You need to take feedback from other people who are using this kind of modems , about various operators speed at DELHI, if you wish to buy from ebay.in , buy from a POWER SELLER who has good feed back.
My suggestion for you is to purchase a 3G UNLOCK DATA CARD from ebay.in or local markets, the benefit with this is you can insert any operators sim card in this data card.
Just you need to change APN in it.
If you buy reliance net connect or photon plus you have to stick to them through out your life, cannot change to other operators.
You can use any 2G or 3G sim in an Unlocked 3G data card. choose plans according to your budget. Bsnl 3g is cheap with occasional breakdowns.

My suggestion for you is to purchase a 3G UNLOCK DATA CARD from ebay.in or local markets, the benefit with this is you can insert any operators sim card in this data card.
Just you need to change APN in it.
If you buy reliance net connect or photon plus you have to stick to them through out your life, cannot change to other operators.
You can use any 2G or 3G sim in an Unlocked 3G data card. choose plans according to your budget. Bsnl 3g is cheap with occasional breakdowns.

Ok, so im like REALLY interested in flight, it is my life dream to become a pilot of any sort, but Im planning on buying Microsoft Flight Sim X, and i need conformation that the game will run relatively smooth on my computer.
My computer runs on Windows XP professional, version 2002. It has 512mb of RAM, but i have a backup disk with 127gb of RAM with 85gb of space remaining, and with all of this, i was wondering if the game would install, and run ok on my system.

I just got a Tmobile Nokia Nuron today. I put my sim card from my old phone into it, and I tried to go into contacts. But, when I do that it says "No contacts." and then it has a loading bar that said "Initializing Mobile Backup" And it just sits there like that and doesn't change. What does that mean? I knocked my iPhone in water...?
So, I knocked my iPhone 3GS in some water (about an inch's worth) but didn't realize that I had, and I'd say it was in the water for about 3-5 minutes tops. I could see some water in the screen and I shook excess water out/off. I used a vacuum cleaner, well, the tube attachment and used it on every input of the phone for at least 5 minutes per input (charging base, earphone jack, sim card hole, etc.) and I could see the water getting "sucked" out, if you will, to the point that there was no water in the screen. I idiotically pushed the power button before I did all of this though, yeah, ha, I panicked. The Apple logo was on the screen when I did this and there was still water in the iPhone of course. I know this increases the whopping chance(s) that my iPhone will not work because I may have short-circuited it. I used a low heat blow dryer on each input for about 3 minutes per input. I then repeated the vacuum bit and I have it sitting in rice with silicon (combination). I'm going to repeat doing all of this for the next few days, but basically, my questionSSS are:

You need to try Silica Gel Packets to dry out your phone. There was a good article on associatedcontent.com that explains how to dry a wet cell phone, iPods, or any electronics. You need to place your phone in a zip lock bag with Silica Gel Packets. Silica Gel will remove all the moisture from the phone and its components, something air drying will not do!
Just Google "Silica Gel Packets" and you will find several companies selling these products. There is also a web site called: http://www.SilicaGelPackets.com that has them.

I was walking home from soccer practice today and it started to rain very badly, I had my cell phone in a bag underneath some stuff but it still got wet. I took out the battery and the SIM card and I tried everything. I called at%26amp;t customer service because that is the cellphone provider that I have. they said that theres a tiny little square near where the battery in my phone gets placed at. she said that if its red or pink that there is water damaged, I checked and its red. so that means my phone is water damaged. is there a way to save my cellphone. I can't go out and buy another one. well I could I got the money but my dad won't do anything. I really need a phone to get to soccer practice, that way I can call my dad and let him know I got to school safely since I live kinda far from the school. he said that hes going to let me use his phone but I don't want to do that. is there any way I can save my phone. I don't feel like there is. I have a backup phone but its prepaid and I text a lot so a prepaid phone wouldn't work for me. If your mobile is on warranty, you cant claim since water on mobile is VOID as per the law of gurantee or warantty. You can see a litmus test like paper (usually reddish). So, It is easily identifyable if water has entered the phone.

URGENT IPHONE HELP!!!?
i dropped my iphonw down the toilet the other day (dont ask) and at first the the phone was completely unresponsive. Since then, ive opened up the sim card slot and wiped it all down, ive also dried the phone with a hair dryer and left it in the airing cupboard overnight. Now, the phone can play sound and looks perfectly fine, however the screen is not responding whatsoever, it still lights up when i hit the home button but it doesnt respond to my touch. I was thinking that if i leave it in the airing cupboard another night that might sort it out? I was also thinking of getting apple to fix it (not tell them it got damaged by water and say it was exposed to the cold weather) however my iphone is jailbroken :( ive tried rebooting it but itunes keeps saying 'iphone backup is not verifed' .. what shall i do?!!? :(URGENT IPHONE HELP!!!?

Hey there, I have pay monthly internet with o2 and I access the internet through a USB Modem/Dongle. I have an 885u Sierra wireless and it's faulty, I haven't been to the shop yet to see about a refund/upgrade but I don't wanna pay big money and knowing them they'll find some way to screw me over! If I buy a working, used modem without a sim card and put my one in will it work just the same? or will they somehow know and cancel my broadband? I found a better, cheap one close to me on a classifieds website so I have a backup plan if all else fails!

I have an iPad 2 problem?
recently my ipad 2 has been malfunctioning. And i went to go backup all the information onto my computer but its not recognizing that its the same ipad. Its telling me that it has "recently been synced with an iPad or other iOS device" and then it gives me two options. either to set it up as a new iPad or to restore from the back up of my iPad. the last time it was synced was on 4-30-11 but its now 6-27-11 and i have about 80 new songs and a lot of pictures i don't want to lose. Recently my mother had broken her phone by dropping it in water somewhere, and lost all the 'phone' data (including her contacts). She had a some contacts saved in her SIM card, which she was able to retrieve and transfer them to her NEW phone @ AT%26amp;T.
She says that she doesn't want to lose all her data again, and wants me to find a way to save them to my computer as a backup, just in case something like this happens again.
Now being semi-experienced with AT%26amp;T phones, I think all I have to do is buy a USB cable for my mothers phone, plug it into my computer and copy the .pbb file (contacts) from her phone and onto my computer and for her photos vice versa. And update it weekly.
Has anyone tried this before? I'm not too worried about the photos, more for the contacts: so, Has anyone transfered their contacts from their phone to their computer with the USB?

Broken LG Rumor not under warranty - is it worth calling LG's complaint line?
My warranty JUST ran out about a month and a half ago.
About a month ago, my LG Rumor started acting up, and now it barely even works. The ribbon cord or whatever, the one that hooks the screen to the keyboard, is damaged. Whenever I open or close the phone, the screen fuzzes out, then I have to turn it off, and turn it back on. I do this about 10-20 times a day, and it drives me NUTS.
I've heard of people not under warranty calling up and complaining to LG, and getting a refurbished or a new phone sent to them, or sending in their own phone and getting it fixed, free of charge. I'm hoping for a new phone for Christmas but I'm afraid that my phone won't last to the end of the month... We DO have a backup phone but it would involve going all the way out to the Sprint store, buying a SIM card, getting everything switched over, only to have to do it again at Christmas.
So, do you think it's worth calling and giving it a shot, trying to get a new phone? Has anyone here had success with this? Is it all automated, or what?

Personally, I suggest giving it a try with LG. If you don't insurance with your carrier and your phone is of no use as a phone, what do you have to lose?

Can I back up my contacts from Windows Mobile to Android?
I'm going to get the HTC Aria (for At%26amp;t) soon. I currently have the HTC Rhodium (aka the Tilt 2) and I have a lot of data for each of my contacts. I have a really nice contact backup program that uses an XML file to back up all data for each contact in Windows mobile, and I want to know if there are any android apps out there that can either restore contacts from an XML file or some program that I can use on Windows Mobile that can back up contact data to be restored on Android (perhaps a different file type?).
I DO NOT want to have to back up contacts to the SIM card, mainly because I probably have too many contacts and I don't want to have to re enter all the info that I lose for each person when the Outlook contact is converted to a SIM contact

Restore/ retrieve deleted text messages?
I have a HTC Wildfire running off Android 2.2.1, with service provider T-Mobile. I was clearing data from from my Manage Applications in Settings ie internet, facebook, ebay etc and purposely ignored anything to do with the Messages data, but it's completely deleted all my texts.
I tried turning the phone off %26amp; on again but no change. I restored from my sms backup app but as I haven't actually backed up for a while this was pretty pointless (I obviously didn't intend to delete everything, hence no backup for a while).
Overall it must be about 2000 texts that have gone, all from internal memory as sim card never holds enough, and I want to know if there is any way to recover/ restore these without paying loads of money to a phone techy.
I've been told that my service provider could send me paper copies of all texts sent %26amp; received if I request this, but is this true? And I'd prefer them on my phone anyway.

Last night I decided to update the OS since some applications and games won't work with the current version I had with my iPhone 3G. I had 3.0 and when I looked up the internet most recommended 3.1.2 since 3.1.3 is currently unlockable.
So before I did anything I decided to back up my phone using iTunes. Since my 16g phone had only 400mg free space meant that the backup will take a very long time. So while waiting I decidde to take a nap. When I woke up I found to my horror that my wife switched off the PC while something was running.
I saw my iphone in recovery mode... I tried everything I could to fix this but wasn't succesful. Most jealbreaking tools would be stuck at "waiting for reboot"
The only choice I had was to restore it through iTunes. Only that iTunes would install the latest update 3.1.3 and my iphone now is more like an ipod touch. I tried several ways. I was able to jailbreak it but couldn't unlock it to have my SIM card working on it.
What can I do. my iPhone i snow locked. I don't know if the backup was completed or not so my 15+ gb of data is as good as dust under my shoe.

He will sell you email address to all his scamming buddies who will also send you dozens of fake emails all with the exact same goal, you sending them your cash via Western Union or moneygram.
Whenever suspicious or just plain curious, google everything, website addresses, names used, companies mentioned, phone numbers given, all email addresses, even sentences from the emails as you might be unpleasantly surprised at what you find already posted online. You can also post/ask here and every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site you can find before taking a chance and losing money to a scammer.
If you google "iphone scam", "cell phone fraud Western Union" or something similar, you will find hundreds of posts of victims of this type of scam.
A friend of mine purchased a blackberry via internet and he paid 280 dollar including the shipping charge on 1st march 2011 and it seems there was a problem in immigration and he couldn't get his phone. So, he mailed the company Electronic Specifier Limited
which addressed at Jalan Kampung Nyabor P.O. Box 1711, Selangor, Malaysia under Mr. Collins Usman and I just called him at +60146658993 and an African man answered. He asked me to call back because of the bad signal and I did called back and he answered again.
I told him about the problem and he was a bit shocked and he asked me to call back in 30 minutes but I suspected something is wrong so tried to find this address and it was confirmed a scam .I'm planning to not to call this guy again because so sure that either the phone is off or he wont answer.
I'll try to report it to the police station. Hope some action can be taken even though it might be useless. Wow I'm so shocked to know that too many companies and fraud names been used using the same address and phone number!!!

The website is not "under construction" it is non existent or shut down for fraud.
Any company or person who says their electronics are "buy one/two get some free" is a scammer. Always.
Any phone number that starts with +44-70 or anything similar is not based in the United Kingdom. It is from a UK based cell phone redirect service that can be answered by anyone anywhere in the world. It is a favorite service of scammers who want to pretend to be in the United Kingdom but are really half way around the world from there.
Western Union and moneygram do not verify anything on the form the sender fills out, not the name, not the street address, not the country, not even the gender of the receiver, it all means absolutely nothing. IPhone 4 defects... Will I get a new one?
I dropped my iPhone 4 today from 3 feet high when it slipped out of it's case. I got a lot of tiny scratches and it messed up the SIM card. So I went to AT%26amp;T and while there, I also found out the top speaker broke when receiving calls I would not here the other end, even with 5 bars. My iPhone 4 came with a defected SIM card and they had to give me a new a few months back. The guy said to backup my phone to iTunes and that Apple would give me a new one. How can I transfer my texts to a new phone?
I have the galaxy s, but I ordered another one because of defects. I want to have all my texts from the defective phone on the new phone. I downloaded an app called SMS backup (by Michele Valentini). I saved all my messages on that app, but I'm confused on how that's going to end up on the new phone. I've tried to just simply save the texts to the SIM card, but it's always "unsuccessful." I just want to be able to transfer my battery, SIM card, %26amp; SD card into the new phone %26amp; have all my texts there. How can I do this?How can I transfer my texts to a new phone?

I have NOKIA CDMA 3125 (Reliance) 12 months old set whose ON/OFF switch(inside) got destroyed within 3 months. Can it be repaired at any Nokia service centre in Delhi as the same is not getting fixed because of metal to metal surface contact problem. Also it has developed Network lost problem and gets heated up during conversation.This arises a question in mind whether CDMA technology/instruments successful in comparison with GSM/SIM card as I want to stick to only one mobile number in future for business purpose without changing phone/ connection every now and then. Whether NOKIA has capability to handle such trouble shooting jobs or does it still have service backup limitation in India/Delhi. IPhone 4 Help Needed?
Firstly, i bought my IPhone 4 Sim Free from the Apple Store.
I initially had a PAYG T-Mobile sim card and my phone worked fine. I swapped it around with another for a few weeks and then back to my T-Mobile Sim, again it worked fine. Upon swapping my sim once again i found that i'm now unable to make calls, I can however receive calls and send and receive txts. I have tried the sim in another phone and it works perfectly. I have also checked my T-Mobile sim in my iphone and that works fine too. I have tried restoring the phone from a backup, this doesnt help. Any Ideas?IPhone 4 Help Needed?

I am 12 and my brother is 16. His old phone broke, and we have 2 backup phones that are really boring but he doesn't really care about the quality so it's not that bad. He already uses one of the backup phones. (or used!)

my Htc Desire mobile phone was stolen,
i report it, and i am not very sure than they will find it back.
i want to track my phone by GPS which was enabled, and phone finder(find my phone if was lost or stolen option).
i have another option is to block it , so it will be unusable in the UK.
My question is; if i block the phone, can i still track/locate it online or by gps or any other possibilities?
I hear than, HTC phones, got a option to track them and see where it is on google map if we got an gmail account or we can connect to the phone and backup whole contacts/datas online even if it turned off or the sim card was replaced.

Is my Motorola Cliq fixable?
When I turn it on (with SIM card) it displays just a black screen and the top notifications bar (the one displaying 3g, my signal and battery level). None of the buttons do anything. If I turn it on without the SIM card in it it displays "No SIM card" and the wrong time over the default wallpaper. From here, all I'm able to do is make emergency calls. When I insert the SIM nothing happens.
It was previously rooted and I have the monthly 4G plan with T-Mobile. I downloaded and installed an app from 4shared called "System Tuner Pro" thinking it was a guitar tuner. From that app it allowed me to view my phones memory usage and uninstall apps, so I removed the apps I didn't use. Once I left the apps my phone's dialer, contacts, calendar and text messaging apps no longer works. I assumed it was because I uninstalled a system app: "MotoBlur." I went back into system tuner to restore the backup but I just got a "Restore Failed, Requires root" message. I went through the settings and the "Restore to Factory Default" was missing. I then performed a hard reset (Power+Camera, Vol-Down, Alt+L, Alt+W) and then rebooted the phone.
Is my phone bricked forever? Does anyone have any other ideas to try?Is my Motorola Cliq fixable?
