i dropped my iphonw down the toilet the other day (dont ask) and at first the the phone was completely unresponsive. Since then, ive opened up the sim card slot and wiped it all down, ive also dried the phone with a hair dryer and left it in the airing cupboard overnight. Now, the phone can play sound and looks perfectly fine, however the screen is not responding whatsoever, it still lights up when i hit the home button but it doesnt respond to my touch. I was thinking that if i leave it in the airing cupboard another night that might sort it out? I was also thinking of getting apple to fix it (not tell them it got damaged by water and say it was exposed to the cold weather) however my iphone is jailbroken :( ive tried rebooting it but itunes keeps saying 'iphone backup is not verifed' .. what shall i do?!!? :(URGENT IPHONE HELP!!!?

knowing apple, they probably created the iphone so that would happen if water touched it, but i have an idea that worked for my phone. FIRST, turn it of(turning it on could cause it to break if water got in it). SECOND, buy dry rice(any kind, but make sure it is dry). Third put rice into a bowl, and put iphone into it. the rice should soke up the moisture. PLAN B. get an eye dropper and bleach the inside of the earphone hole(there is a sensor that turns red when it is water damged. so bring it to the apple store and dont tell them about the water damage. HOPE THAT HELPS!:)
